BOUDOIR PROPS

“every woman deserves to feel sexy and confident in her own skin.”

Unique boudoir props ideas

Would you like your boudoir photoshoot to have an editorial feel? If you’d like your pictures to look like they could be in the pages of a magazine then try thinking of props and accessories that can add a story to your session.

Typically small items that give your hands something to do, work best. With this in mind, here are some boudoir prop ideas to add a little extra to your shoot…

Fans

A coffee Mug/Branded Drink

Something as simple as a coffee mug or Coke Can for example can make for some great photos. Personalise it with a favourite coffee mug or teacup or your partner’s favourite cup.

Bottles and Glasses

Again, personalise your shoot with a bottle of wine or champagne that’s your favourite.

Rose petals (or flowers)

So versatile on Boudoir Shoots - Even fake flowers look great, like the ones below.

Anything Vintage

If Vintage is your thing, try adding to the theme with anything vintage you may have, such as this vintage bakelite phone.

Hats

Umbrellas

Great for ‘implied’ nude peek a boo shots

A book, newspaper, or magazine

Imagine all the sexy poses you can do with a newspaper or magazine! All you need to do is bring your props! Bring something specific to you and the pictures will mean more. Vogue for example if you’re a fashionista, a bridal magazine if you’re getting married, a favourite book or novel. A Newspaper from the day you were born. There are endless ways to personalise this.

Compact case/lipstick

There is always something so sexy about a woman preparing to go out for a date night or to spend time with her partner. Bring your favorite makeup to play with during your shoot for a few unique candid looks. Makeup is a fun idea for a boudoir prop! A great alternative is a favourite perfume bottle.

Bedsheets

A great alternative to an outfit. Who doesn’t look sexy dressed in a bedsheet?

Food or Drink

Any kind of food or drink will work. It adds a little ‘realness’ to your pictures. Gives you something to do with your hands so makes things look natural. Try different fruits, cupcakes, cakes, and try dripping chocolate syrup, whipped cream or honey for a little extra sauciness in your pictures. You can be as creative as you like with food.

Pets

Mirrors

For extra smokiness, try Cigarettes/Cigars
