Natasha’s Stunning Fashion/Boudoir/Fine Art Nude Photoshoot
We never Clockwatch, so we have time to do this.
This is a perfect example of what we do from fashion through boudoir and even tasteful fine art nude if required.
Some fashion with beautiful dresses and outfits, Boudoir with amazing and stylish lingerie and if clients want to really show off their body, we will even include some tasteful, fine art nudes in the session.
Everything is styled around each individual clients’ needs and wants.
Because every single client is unique and every woman has different comfort levels in front of the camera (actually, in front of a ‘stranger with a camera’) so every shoot takes a different amount of time and produces different styles. We always take time to point out that we don’t do ‘conveyor belt’ type studio photography. in other words, we don’t clock watch so we don’t hurry to get you out the door for the next client (You’ll never feel rushed) and we don’t use a formula of set poses so you won’t end up with the same images as anybody else.
What we do is sit you down with a coffee or tea and talk to you a little bit. We listen to what you want from the shoot and we create everything around you.
Commonly, women have no idea what they expect from the shoot since they’ve never done anything like this before. They know they’d love to look and feel glamorous but often leave the style of pictures to us.
We’ll show Pinterest boards to clients to get an idea of what they like and don’t like. How much you dare to bare is entirely up to you. We’ll often get an idea of what you’re looking to achieve from the Pinterest selections you point out.
Boudoir photoshoots are often seen as a confidence booster fo so many of our clients. A kind of photographic ‘bush tucker trial’. The thought of stepping out in front of the camera wearing just lingerie or even less is scary for almost everyone but the feeling of empowerment it gives when it’s done and then the feeling of pride when you view the images… Well, this is why so many of our clients come back for a second shoot.
Regardless of how little our clients want to wear we always recommend bringing a couple of dresses and even a clean white shirt with jeans. It essential to feel completely comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera and this can be better achieved, more quickly, in outfits you feel comfortable in to start with. Remember, we don’t have time constraints. There’s no pressure. It takes time to become relaxed in front of the camera and that’s what we allow for. Photoshop can fix so many things but if your expression looks nervous then there’s little we can do to fix that. It’s why we’ve spent many years perfecting our people skills to allow you to become relaxed and empowered in our studio.
Actually, on the subject of our ‘studio’, we also find that getting away from a cold and clinical high street white wall studio environment really helps too. We use the luxurious and beautiful environment of Hazlewood Castle as our studio, preferring to shoot in elegant private rooms and suites. A much more comfortable surrounding.
Women come to us for different reasons. Sometimes to create a special gift for a husband or boyfriend, sometimes it’s a special indulgent gift fo themselves.
Maybe it’s to mark a special occasion or a landmark. Anniversary, engagement, successful diet, conquering cancer (a common reason) or illness of some kind. Some women come to rediscover themselves again after being lost as a third class citizen in their own home. (They’ve always put the kids and their husband first and now it’s ‘me time’ again!)

Natasha arrived with a huge bag full of so many options for outfits. The concept was to create a pure black and white album so every image had a ‘fine art’ feel to it and the album would look super classy as a result. What you see here of course are the colour originals.
This entire shoot took just 4 hours from start to finish.

This is where we photograph our clients every day and it’s hard to believe these pictures were taken in December but they were. That’s what’s so magical about this place. Autumn Leaves, Bluebells, Spring Blossom, Snow, even rain at Hazlewood Castle looks dramatic and wonderful in pictures.
