We are all about loving your curves! We love photographing real women and making them look beautiful. It’s what we do.

DO YOU CONSIDER YOURSELF A “PLUS SIZE”?

We been creating Yorkshire boudoir photography for more than a decade and to be honest, we hate the term ‘plus size’ so liberally used by the media. It implies being different from the ‘norm’. It implies something negative. What is the ‘norm’ anyway?

In our experience, the most beautiful women are the women who accept the skin they’re in.

Sometimes these women are super thin with no curves at all but in the main, women who have curves are the most accepting of their body shape.

Let me emphasise this point again.

Stick thin girls may be loved by the fashion industry but all the ‘sexy’ girls have curves!

Think of any sex symbol and she will have curves. The curvier the better.

Over the years we have photographed many women who would not consider themselves as “skinny”. Yet, one of the biggest reasons clients give us to not book a boudoir photoshoot is …

“I need to lose a few pounds first”

Trust me when I say, every single woman has an issue about the way they look.

Every single woman.

They are all just like you.

But we say this…. Trust in your photographer. Look at the thousands of pictures on this website and try to spot any woman who is not totally beautiful. Spot some cellulite. Spot the wobbly bits. Spot the double chins… You’ll be looking for a long time.

The simple fact is that our website doesn’t do cellulite, wobbly bits and double chins, not because our clients don’t have any but because we photograph women in such a way that you don’t see it.

Great make-up, great posing, great lighting … this is our secret sauce.

  • Do your research! Make sure you have a look at the photographer’s portfolio.

  • Love what you see! You must love the photographer’s style since this is how you will be photographed.

  • Be prepared to have fun! We always spend as much time as possible getting to know our clients and making them feel relaxed. We want your inner strength to show itself. If you’re confident and relaxed, your inner beauty will radiate. That’s how you create the sexiest pictures.

Here’s a tip girls -Wardrobe is key!! With the proper wardrobe, you are giving your photographer the ability to pose you anyway they would like.

By posing you properly, we will always make you look as good as you look in real life, if not better!

Oh, and do yourself a favour – Get yourself measured!!

Most women are wearing the wrong size bra. The proper bra size makes you look firmer, trimmer and way hotter.

(Oh and PS… your period isn’t an excuse to cancel a shoot – a little bloat doesn’t really show on camera.)

The women we photograph aren’t super models, they’re just like you!

With good wardrobe choices, professional hair and makeup and our many years of expertise with light and posing, your photos will be stunning.

If you’re trying to figure out what to wear at your boudoir session we’ve got a few tips to help you out so you’ll arrive with the perfect selection of boudoir outfits for you.

• Wear what makes you feel sexy. Boudoir sessions are all about bringing your sexy side, the vamp in you… so if you put something on and you feel uncomfortable, move on to the next option in your wardrobe. Imagine wanting to impress that special date… When you put it on and can’t help but spin in front of the mirror or think, “Wow, I’m sexy!” then you know that is what you should bring for your boudoir photoshoot.  

• Consider what he likes, too. Many of our clients come to us to create something sexy to give as an intimate gift and this is a great motivator. Consider what he’d love you to wear… Maybe he loves you in the colour red, or  that baby doll number you wore a couple years ago, or stockings… (or even ‘naked’ if you’re brave enough)  Consider wearing his shirt. That often looks super sexy.

• Always try and pick lingerie that flatters your best bits.  If you’ve got an impressive bosom then go for something that really shows off your cleavage. Love your legs? flatter with high heels and sexy stockings.

• On the subject of high heels, remember that heels can really improve the way you stand and will add some natural curves which are super sexy. Yes to heels.  

• So few people consider stretchy jumpers and mens white shirts but these are amazing for sexy boudoir shoots. Really, almost anything you love to wear is good to bring along.
