Sexy Things You Already Have In Your Wardrobe Perfect For A Boudoir Photoshoot
Boudoir isn’t just about wearing lingerie. We’ve said this many times.
What you wear is entirely up to you.
It’s about you and your own personal style.
Just like many people find a Fireman’s outfit sexy, other’s prefer suits and ties, buff naked, a chicken suit :-) or a Peppa Pig onesie!!
Ok, we’ve never tried to make Peppa Pig sexy but we would be prepared to take on the challenge!
Seriously, whatever you want to wear, we will make you look and feel super sexy. If you have no idea what you want to bring to your shoot, of course we’ll help you every step of the way.
How about your boyfriends shirt and tie? a sports t-shirt. cut off jeans, Doc Martins?
Here are a few ideas or sexy outfits that we bet you have in your wardrobe right now…
1. T-Shirts
Classically sexy and super versatile. A simple plain white shirt is perfect for that ‘wet t-shirt’ look and a logoed T can say so much about your personality. Whether its a tank-top, a t-shirt or a v-neck or whatever, a T-shirt can always be made to look sexy. You can cut it, tug on it, roll it up or wear it exactly how it’s meant to be worn. Pair a T with undies for a super sexy look and show of your amazing legs or team them up with fishnets and Doc Martins for a grungier look. One of the most versatile items of clothing and everyones got one.
2. The Kimono / Dressing Gown / Nightwear
Silk Kimonos, flowing dressing gowns (Not fluffy cheap ones) and silk pjs and nightgowns can always be made to look sexy. So versatile as well. Great for flattering full length poses or lying down on the bed. Mix them with underwear for a truly fabulous look.
3. Stretchy Jumpers.
If you’re not feeling comfortable with your body-shape then this item of clothing is for you. A stretchy sweaters is perfect for covering those bits you don’t like and yet can be uncovered enough to show shoulders and necklines and can be lifted and stretched, worn with lingerie or stockings, heels, belts and any number of different ways. Cardigans can be another great option with all those buttons to teasingly undo. We all have a jumper in our wardrobe, why not bring it along to your Boudoir Shoot?
4. Jackets & Coats.
Everyone’s got a favourite coat and these are also so versatile. Great for covering up in between shoots and perfect for walking from one room to another in our hotel. Wear over lingerie or nude is you’re brave. Reveal as much or as little as you wish underneath. Outdoor Boudoir? This is your best friend.
5. A Man’s Dress Shirt
Typically found in a man’s white-collar wardrobe, but now can be found in many different versions in almost everyone’s closet. Again, plain ol’ white goes with everything and there are a multitude of poses and ideas that come along with this piece of wardrobe for your boudoir session. It’s common that we roll up the sleeves on shirts like this and they are usually left unbuttoned to reveal whatever is being adorned underneath.
6. Denim
Almost anything denim. Cut off shorts, jeans, tops, you name it. Who doesn’t feel sexy with a little bit of denim?
7. Basic black (or white) bra with a cute pair of underwear.
Black is never going out of style, and you can always dress it up with some gorgeous jewellery.
