Take it from us, there is nobody more attractive than a smart, confident and courageous woman in her 40’s….it’s a great time in a woman’s life for so many reasons! You really can feel fab at 40 .

For one thing, you spend your 20s and 30s figuring yourself out, so by the time you get to your 40s, you know yourself really well. Hopefully at this point, you’ve learned to accept, and even love, the things you cannot change.

You’re still improving, of course, but you know who you are.

The 40s are fabulous because now you can wear what you want, you can watch and listen to what you want because the social pressures of the young adult world have no effect on you whatsoever… You’re so over that noise. You’re fab at 40! 

I just wanted to say thank you for the amazing experience I had on my photo shoot. From start to finish the whole day was full of fun and laughter and even before I had even had my make up done, Kym had made me feel at ease. They both made me feel confident enough to do the shots I wanted to and even looking back at the photos from the start of the day to the end, Dave had already taught me so much on how to get the best shots for me and have lots of variety in my poses. He gave plenty of advice and direction which was the main thing I worried about as I’m not a natural selfie taker or poser by any means! I can’t recommend it enough. I really think that everyone should do one in their lifetime and be made to feel special for the day. 😊 Thank you for helping me get my self confidence back

So many women dread getting older.

Those first grey hairs spotted in the mirror, the aching all over feeling in the morning, feeling drained after being taxi driver for the kids 5 days in a row and the countless other things that tell you, “you’re not as young as you used to be”

Although nothing can stop the ageing process it doesn’t mean that you have to start wearing a twin set, cutting your hair and wearing sensible shoes and frumpy, shape covering tops. Far from it. 

Life doesn’t stop at 40.

In fact things only get better from here!

So many women tell us they think they’re too old to do a Boudoir Photoshoot.

The truth is, you’re never too old to do this.

In fact, the positive effect a photoshoot experience like this will have on you only gets better with age.

The whole point of a Boudoir Experience is to learn not to be so judgemental about yourself. To accept yourself how you are, right now. To learn to accept the truly amazing woman that you have become. There is no point in comparing yourself to how you looked 10 or 20 years ago any more than compare yourself with other women. This is not being kind to yourself. Being kind to yourself is to accept the way you are. We’re all ‘perfectly imperfect’ and accepting that is a truly positive thing.

Guess what? We photograph more 40 somethings than any other age group.

Why do you think that is?

Well, the ‘big 40’ is such an important milestone in our lives. I remember turning 40 as if it was entering ‘old age’. looking in the mirror I could notice the changes – New wrinkles, sagging skin, bags around my eyes.

Despite the signs of ageing, I felt great, yet I hated admitting my age to anyone.

We should embrace our 40s. Enjoy it.

We firmly believe that there is no age limit to looking fabulous. What’s more, we have over ten years experience photographing women and making them look and feel beautiful.

I loved my experience for my 40th birthday last year, the day was relaxed with great customer care right from the word go. My hair and makeup was super and this was done to my description of how I wanted to look, being a more natural lady. In the past many make up artists I find tend to apply heavy clown make up to which I didn’t want, so this was good. I was listened to . Dave was just so professional with the photo shoot making it fun and relaxed. Turning 40 for me was a decision of either Botox or a photoshoot, I decided to stay natural and let the camera do the work. The photos were beautiful and I will be back for more highly recommended .
