COLLABORATION IS KEY FOR UNFORGETTABLE BOUDOIR PHOTOS

Tips and Tricks from a Pro Boudoir Photographer - Using Pinterest Mood Boards

“I was a little nervous about the day, and what to expect. But upon my arrival I was instantly put at ease. I received help and advise on the clothes to wear and what make-up may look most flattering. The whole day flew by and I loved every minute. I felt great and my confidence grew and grew throughout. Thank you for such a memorable day!”

We constantly strive to make every photoshoot better than the last and like anything in life, the secret to success is preparation. Just like you prepare for your photoshoot by getting all your outfits ready in advance, we try and map out the day as well. No two shoots are the same. Collaboration is fundamental since we want your day to be all about you and your personal style.

So how do we prepare a style if we don’t know you at this point?

Well, we simply do our best to get to know you a little by talking over the phone before shoot day and we send Pinterest mood boards to inspire you.

Pinterest is an invaluable tool which allows us to see what kind of pictures you’re drawn to.

To get started, we’ll give you a little homework by asking you to put together images you love - Not just pictures you love from our website but pictures from anywhere that you see and love.

During our phone conversations, we go over some of the pictures you’ve chosen and talk about what you’re really excited about. This gives us a better idea of who you are as a person and helps us create a boudoir experience that you’ll never forget.

We love getting to know each of our clients and finding out what makes them unique.

Having mood boards like this really does help us come up with different ideas.

We might also ask you to send pictures of your outfits so we know what we’ll be dealing with.

Do you want something more artistic or edgy or traditional?

Do you love black and white?

What about advanced, dramatic poses or pictures of your booty?

Bath or shower shots?

Outdoor boudoir if weather allows? Outdoor shoots in the rain?

Hopefully we’ll get all of this kind of information and more in advance of your shoot day and then we’ll be armed with loads of ideas for a sensational shoot.

So let's get creative… The end result will be beautiful, unforgettable photos that you will cherish for years to come and you’ll know that your pictures will look quite unlike anyone else’s .
