These sessions sometimes start out as a gift to someone else but always end up as an unexpected gift to themselves!
How Sessions Work
A Madison Bou Boudoir Session is completely bespoke and styled entire around the clients wishes.
In terms of location for the shoot, we use a variety of different locations around Yorkshire so that we can offer anything from minimalist, contemporary decor to stylish period interiors. We have some outdoor location options as well for the more adventurous.

Which location would you prefer?
When you arrive we sit down and have a chat about how you would like the day to go. We’ll go through the Pinterest Mood Boards we’ve worked on together based on our conversations on the phone and this is when we go through your outfits for the shoot. It’s all very relaxed and informal at this point. Then it’s ‘Glam Time!’
All Sessions include a Hair and Makeup to glam you up for your day.
You can choose if you want a natural look or go all out with a Smokey eye sexy look or just something in between.
But don’t worry too much about trying to figure out what to bring with you to your shoot. We’ll have plenty of conversations leading up to the day, we’ll supply you with our Boudoir Prep Guide with loads of outfit ideas plus we have our ‘LINGERIE GUIDE’ and a list of our favourite Lingerie shops, so you’ll be well prepared I promise.
How the session will make you feel
Every woman is nervous about posing in her skivvies but let me tell you, you will feel relaxed and have a blast! That’s a Guarantee!
I’ve had 20 years experience photographing Boudoir and Jayne, my partner, has danced all over the world and trained in classical Ballet, Tap and modern dance (Including a 2 year stint at Moulin Rouge in Paris) - During this time she learnt more about the art of posing than you’ll ever need to know.
Together, we will will coach you through the whole process and make it super fun.
It will be easy and relaxing. (Well, ok, you may ache a little bit. All that posing can really stretch you out)

“I had always fancied having a photo shoot done, having seen some of my friends showing their pictures on Facebook but my confidence issues always made me hesitant. Last year was a really hard year for me regarding my physical health and I got diagnosed with Osteoporosis on my spine. I had 6 months off work and became extremely low as things I had taken for granted in being able to do I no longer could. I am a single parent and this was a real bitter pill to swallow not being able to do things with my daughter.
I had started to manage my pain better and had lost some of my weight and wanted to feel special just once. I have never liked my photo being taken and would always hideaway when anyone took a camera or phone out. I thought it would be just nice if I could have one picture that I liked of me.
From start to finish they made me feel like a superstar. Believe me I was so nervous and it took all the confidence I had to go, I nearly turned round in the car park but I’m so glad I didn’t.
They are so funny and laid back and straight away put me at ease. They taught me some amazing tips and the whole experience was one of the best things I have ever done. You gave me confidence I never knew I had.
Dave was amazing, a true gentleman, very friendly and calming and with his vivacious sense of humour he relaxed any nerves. I did struggle with some of the poses as I was in pain but even with this distraction he was able to get the best out of me and make me feel like I was beautiful. I loved every minute of the day and all my insecurities seemed to fade away.

The Best bit of all comes a week or two later when you return for your viewing/ordering session.
You’ll walk in to your slideshow of around 100 stunningly beautiful, fully finished images from your day. This the showstopper of showstoppers.

‘When I returned for the viewing I was excited but scared unsure of what to expect, I sat in the office with my mum and on the computer screen was a magazine cover. I remember thinking at the time the lady on the front looked really attractive, never did I think that it was me. When we sat down to view the pictures Dave pointed out that that was me from that point on I couldn’t stop the tears. Picture after picture and I looked amazing in every one. At the viewing you can decide what pictures you want and how you want them printed. Most of our clients order a custom made book because they’ve never seen anything of this quality before. Like purchasing a pair of Christian Louboutins but more custom and unique and made to last 100 years. Genuinely, in your 60s, 70s and 80s, you’ll be able to look at this book and remember just how super hot you were in the prime of your life.
The feeling of empowerment and confidence you felt after your shoot day will stay with you everytime you look at your pictures. It’s an incredible feeling.
