Yorkshire Boudoir - WHAT TO WEAR (CONSIDER BODYSUITS)

We always say that Every Body is beautiful.

We would also say that every body in a bodysuit is beautiful.

With few exceptions, bodysuits make bodies look fabulous every time.

I know you often feel like you need to wear a two piece set of Bra and Knickers, but trust us when we say, unless you really are super confident, bra and knickers often look far less flattering than bodies.

Particularly if you think you have an issue with ‘mummy tummy’ then a body is perfect for coverage. It’s much like a swim suit, yet way more sexy. Bodies come in so many styles, you’ll be able to find the perfect one for you.

Perhaps you wear a traditional 2 piece everyday and never think to wear a body suit. Try one on in front of the mirror and watch how it flatters your shape.

You can adapt your outfit by adding jeans or skirts to your bodysuit and then you can even go outside. No vpl - Bonus!

Styles for your unique body type when shopping for a bodysuit.

Hour Glass

If you have an hourglass shape, then you are in luck as any style can fit you well.

Having an hourglass shape means you have a fuller chest and hips, as well as a well-defined waistline.

A tight-fitting bodysuit in any colour would suit you best as it will accentuate your curves.

You can pair it with a skinny high-rise jean in order to better define the curves on your hips and legs.

Pear Shape

If you have wider hips and relatively slimmer shoulders, then you should try to highlight the top half of your body.

Think of wearing an off-the-shoulder bodysuit and make the top half of your body longer.

Pair it with an A-line skirt to emphasise your waist.

The skirt will flare out over the hips, creating a sense of balance.

A vest bodysuit is also perfect for this body shape as it makes your tummy look smaller.

You can pair it with a high-waisted trouser to add definition to your waist.

Apple Shape

If you have a large Bust, narrow hips and a full midsection then you’ll need a bodysuit with great stretch and will feel really comfortable as well as look great.

Inverted Triangle Shape

If you have wider shoulders than your hips, then the goal should be to create the illusion that you have wider hips.

You can achieve this look by wearing a dark long-sleeved bodysuit and pair it with a flared skirt.

Straight Shaped

Having shoulders, hips, and a waist that is almost of the same size can be challenging. In this case, you should seek to highlight your shoulders and hips and create the illusion that they are wider than usual.

Try a long-sleeved bodysuit with a deep V-Neck.
