I had a photo shoot with Dave a few weeks ago and I was so impressed with how professional he and his make up artist was they made me feel sexy and empowered and I had so much fun on the day. Yes! Of course! Every client has a different level of modesty. Some clients come in and want a very classy and modest boudoir photoshoot. While others come in and wish to have a sultry and steamy boudoir photoshoot. We can usually judge how the boudoir photoshoot will go by the lingerie that a client brings to the session. We also use Pinterest boards for ideas in the days and weeks leading up to the big day.

We cover all of these details prior to the shoot so there are no big surprises on the day. We ask questions about how much skin you want to show or not show. We want to get to know your modesty level to make you feel the most comfortable during your session. You will have a personalised wardrobe consultation while you are being pampered with amazing hair and makeup.

Even if you’re super shy and modest you can still rock a boudoir photoshoot and look sensual and sexy without showing much skin at all.

The Honeysuckle Suite • Hazlewood Castle

Here is the Honeysuckle Suite, one of the Master Suites, upstairs in Hazlewood Castle. All of the suites really are something special and very individual. The Honeysuckle is a huge rooms with separate room adjoining - perfect for a little privacy during outfit changes. It also has stairs leading to a lavish bathroom. The Honeysuckle was the first suite we photographed in at Hazlewood, some 20 years ago and we still love working here, through it’s various refurbs.

There’s nothing wrong with heading to your boudoir shoot with what little clothes you plan to have on, but some girls like to spice things up and bring boudoir props and accessories to their session.

Dressing up in costume or incorporating props into your boudoir shoot is a fun way to show off your individual style and personality or act out a personal fantasy for you or your partner. Those who love the ‘shades of Grey’ look often bring handcuffs, feathers, whips and chains. If this is your style, then go with it but always stay authentic to who you are or the results will look cheesy and false.

Costumes are another common thing that clients bring to their Boudoir shoots. Anything from super heroes to real work uniforms. We try to discourage costumes bought cheaply from fancy dress stores and encourage the real thing wherever possible. (Fireman’s uniform for example, though the real ‘spiderman’ outfit may be harder to find….. Peter Parker doesn’t like sharing)

One model and all our old copies of the Sunday times collecting dust in the corner. (Yep, there was a lot of them) - The idea was to cover everywhere with the Sunday Times and to have the model almost completely lost in amongst it all. An idea that ended up taking over the entire day. Worth it though to get pictures like these…

Leeds Corn Exchange, an architectural gem nestled in the heart of the city, One of only three corn exchanges in the UK with a three-tier structure. In this article, we take you on a fashion shoot in and around this iconic building, where we had the pleasure of photographing the fabulous Monika both inside and outside this historic landmark.

The Corn Exchange is a Grade I listed building that showcases Victorian architecture at its finest. With its striking dome, intricate ironwork, and grand entrance, it offers a picturesque backdrop for any photoshoot. The building's rich history dates back to 1862 when it was originally built as a corn market, and it has since transformed into a bustling hub of independent retailers, boutiques, and creative spaces.

Celebrating the Baby Bump The Maternity photoshoot is a celebration of the baby bump and the radiant glow of expectant parents. It is best to schedule this shoot between the 28th and 36th week of pregnancy, as the bump is beautifully rounded but not too uncomfortable for the mum-to-be. During this stage, the bump is prominently visible, and mums often exude a special glow that adds an ethereal charm to the pictures.
