The idea of Modest Boudoir may seem to be a contradiction. You see women posing in revealing lingerie or nude and think, I could never do that! Here’s the thing – YOU DON’T HAVE TO DO THAT IF YOU DON’T WANT TO!

A Madison Bou Boudoir Photoshoot isn’t about lingerie or how much you dare to bare, it’s about what makes you feel beautiful and sexy. We want you to feel empowered and we believe you should always wear what you are comfortable in. That said, it’s often more empowering when you push your boundaries a little, so we certainly encourage you to push yourself with an experience like this, but everyone’s comfort level is different.

Some women are completely comfortable getting naked in public whereas others wouldn’t dare to bare even to their husband.

There’s no judgement here.

Everyone is unique. The only thing we can say is that everyone will gain so much confidence and look and feel beautiful after this experience. Everyone!

So if you’d prefer to wear more dresses and keep things more ‘fashion’ style, we’ll keep things classy and romantic and keep your boudoir session modest, yet sensual.

Polly suffers from Multiple Sclerosis and had to give up work 5 years ago as her health had deteriorated so much.

She told us that, like so many of our clients, she struggles with self worth and hoped that a professional photoshoot might change her perception of herself.

Guess what? We photograph more 40 somethings than any other age group.

Why do you think that is?

Well, the ‘big 40’ is such an important milestone in our lives. I remember turning 40 as if it was entering ‘old age’. looking in the mirror I could notice the changes – New wrinkles, sagging skin, bags around my eyes.

Despite the signs of ageing, I felt great, yet I hated admitting my age to anyone.

We should embrace our 40s. Enjoy it.
