“The Fetasia Latex group model day was loads of fun. Piles of colourful latex, lots of hairspray and some amazing pictures.
Only a couple of the models had previously met, but everyone got on really well. There were no divas, everyone had fun helping each other into the latex and swapping them around to best suit the outfits.”

Fetasia Latex started back in 2010. Dix bought Leafie an off the peg catsuit, but being petite it drowned her. As both of them had a keen eye on alternative fashion and creative streaks they decided to try make a catsuit for themselves. They discovered that Dix had a knack for it so Leafie drew out some more designs. A family member borrowed one of the designs to attend an alternative
event. The organisers saw them wearing it and immediately pushed out them onto that night's catwalk and the attending public loved it. Enquiries came in for some custom pieces and so the business began.

Lauren Lascivious looks amazing in the frill trim corsetted underwear. It is a halter neck crop top with delicate latex frills in gold and black . Emma Alicia wears a over bust corset top from the same collection in aqua and black. This is teamed with a cute polka dot skater skirt.

Hera Violet wears the bubble gum pink waitress dress.

Latex is great as a material as it is very forgiving. It holds you in nicely and hugs the body to give a great body shape and oomph to the cleavage. Although it is initially very cold to put on, it gets incredibly warm and comfortable very quickly.

More celebrities, such as Katy Perry and Amanda Holden wear latex now for those figure-hugging silhouettes.

Model Emma Alicia says - “People ask me why I like to wear latex. Do you want to know what I tell them? Well- it makes me feel like I'm a bad ass. It makes me feel like I can take on the world and no-one is going to stop me. It's the sexiest thing I can wear because it brings out that confidence I know I've got inside. When I've got my second skin on- I know that every curve I have is made into something even more magnificent and I don't have to (and can't) hide them away.
So why do I like it? It's simple- it's the purest way I have to be the version of myself I wish I was every minute of every day.”

The day was quite long but so much fun. Emma Alicia, one of the models is a makeup artist so helped out getting everyone looking beautiful. AC did a fabulous job giving everyone hair styles to perfectly suit their personalities and the outfits. Dave put everyone at ease , posing and photographing the models.

It was such a lovely day with the smell of rubber and latex shiner hanging in the air, overlayed with the scent of hairspray. There was plenty of giggles and wiggles into the outfits.
