WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT YOURSELF?
Have you ever had one of those days where you say to your partner “Wow, have you been working out, your stomach looks so flat” and they say “What this beer belly?” and then they say “Your hair looks so good” and you say “you kidding, I haven’t washed it in three days”
and the conversation continues where each of you is trying to prove that you are the less attractive one because it’s easier and it feels harder to big yourself up.
What we see happen though, is that when a client comes in for a session and has hair and makeup done and then sees a few shots on the back of the camera, it takes away that negative voice. It’s no longer “I’m not skinny enough” or “I’m not pretty enough” – For the first time in forever, you start to see yourself as your friends see you or as your partner sees you and to be able to show that to you is, for us, one of the most incredible things.
A FAB AT 50 BOUDOIR STYLE PHOTOSHOOT – “I JUST WANTED SOMETHING TO MAKE ME FEEL GOOD”
Karen told us : “I had a fabulous time doing this shoot. I was welcomed and made to feel so relaxed. The photos are superb and capture how much I enjoyed this.”
If You Don’t Know How Much You’re Worth You Can’t Afford This
Boudoir Photography investment - you cant afford a good boudoir photoshoot if you don't know how much you're worth. This is an investment in YOU! and should never be booked in haste. Shopping for a boudoir photoshoot based on cost is a recipe for disaster and extremely unlikely to make you feel more confident, empowered and good about yourself. After all, these are the main reasons for booking this experience in the first place.
10 Reasons Why Women Choose A Boudoir Shoot To Boost Confidence
“ I wanted to find someone who could really capture the essence of an empowered woman on camera. Looking through the website I saw image after image of beautiful, confident, sensual, feminine women. Yet each one was unique and different, in a way that was clearly personal to them. I knew I had found my photographer and messaged straight away! I was astounded by the results, it was exactly what I hoped for and more. ” … Jennifer

CHEAP BOUDOIR PHOTOGRAPHY IN YORKSHIRE
Are you looking for a cheap boudoir photographer in Yorkshire?
Inhibition is Sexy; You Don’t Have to Bare it all
Modest Boudoir Inhibition is Sexy; You Don’t Have to Bare it All
When you think of boudoir, you often think of sexy and provocative women wearing very little clothing and there’s no doubt those who want to push the boat out a little. It’s important to keep in mind, though, that Boudoir is all about the woman in the pictures keeping control. She determines how far and in what direction the photoshoot goes and it’s all about her particular comfort level. It’s a perfectly safe environment for her to work in. (or at least, it certainly should be.)
Every woman has a different idea of ‘sexy’ and some, instead of shedding layers of clothing see sexy more in an Audrey Hepburn kind of way. Resolutley remaining well covered.
Audrey Hepburn was one of those rare Hollywood stars who would always look sexy, whatever she was wearing.
Some women are saying no to shedding the layers, and instead of lingerie, wearing whatever they see fit.
THE ART OF THE TASTEFUL NUDE
We always ask clients when they book a shoot with us, what their level of comfort is. Do they want to do ‘Modest Boudoir’ which is basically our style of boudoir with clothes on. (Dresses, jeans and T-shirts, that sort of thing. Think Audrey Hepburn glam) or perhaps, more traditional lingerie style Boudoir, then there’s the bolder, more implied nude style boudoir or fully nude. When we ask our clients if they want to do tasteful nudes as part of their session, normally, their initial response is a shy “no”. For so many women, though, midway through their shoot they are usually feeling pretty confident and decide to go for it. We are constantly surprised at how many women change their minds and decide to throw caution to the wind and just ‘go for it’ - It’s completely liberating and empowering and takes people way out of their comfort zone. The rush is addictive.
ROCKING A NURSES UNIFORM
This was the most amazing Boudoir session with a client in Leeds and so much fun!
We shot in a contemporary flat, which provided the perfect backdrop for our photoshoot. But let me say, the real star of the show was my incredible client, Jo, and her fabulous outfits!
She brought along a vintage-style corset with stockings that made her look absolutely breathtaking. And when she paired it with those stockings, it was like something out of a magazine!
But that's not all - she also brought a classic white, man's shirt which she styled in the most amazing way. It was sexy and playful all at once, and it really showcased her personality and confidence.
And then, just when I thought it couldn't get any better, she pulled out a cosplay-style nurse's uniform! I normally don't recommend this kind of outfit for boudoir sessions, but she really rocked it like nobody's business.
It was so much fun to play around with the different props and poses, and the final shots were absolutely stunning.
But you know what really made this session stand out? The fact that we had so much fun! We laughed, we had some balloons, and we just had a great time together. It was such a joy to see my client feel so comfortable and empowered in her own skin, and I know that the photos we captured will be treasured memories for years to come.

Why You Deserve a Boudoir Experience
“If you don't love yourself, how in the hell you gonna love somebody else?”…RuPaul
Our daughter is addicted to RuPAUL on the TV so we have heard that expression a thousand times and everytime it resonates in the most powerful way.
Sometimes when we get nervous, we make up excuses not to do something. Of course, for many, the thought of being photographed causes real anxiety so the excuses come thick and fast. ‘Don’t have the time’, ‘Not at my ideal weight right now,’ ‘Not feeling sexy’, ‘don’t have the money’, - Mostly our excuses are just a way of saying, we don’t love ourselves. That RuPaul statement is so true. One of the biggest problems we encounter is that people don’t love themselves, they believe all the negative lies they’ve told themselves over the years, that they’re ‘not good enough’ and then that negativity starts to rub off on the people around them.
Well, we believe a Madison Bou Boudoir Photoshoot can change all that and help you see yourself much more positively ….
ARE YOU PLAYING IT TOO SAFE?
DO YOU NEVER STEP OUTSIDE YOUR COMFORT ZONE?
Guess what? Playing it safe is the worst way to live life. No two ways about it.
Playing it safe means you’re missing out on so many of the great things life has to offer.
Something as simple as ordering food for example. If you always order the same thing everytime how will you know if you like something if you don’t try it?
When you avoid all risks, you miss out on some of the experiences that could literally change your life for the better.
Life is like a ‘smorgasboard of opportunity’. An almost limitless number of things to try and things to learn.
Playing it safe and avoiding risks can often feel like the most logical and comfortable option. - After all, taking risks can be intimidating and uncertain, leading to potential failures and setbacks. Failures and setbacks to those who succeed in life are all necessary parts of the process that eventually leads to success. Thomas Edison said "I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work." and then, finally he invented the light bulb! Few people reach greatness in life without some failures along the way.
